In the United States of America our government is based on our constitutional republic two-party system. Other countries have governments with many political parties ruling, or just one party. There are monarchies, republics, dictatorships, theocracies and parliaments. There also is socialism, communism, fascism, democracies and more. In the U.S.A. a dominant binary construct of right and left, Democrat or Republican political spectrum theory ignores so much about what is really going on like the passage of time, changing political views and bipartisanship. Agreements within bills to be voted on for laws have a lot of bipartisan compromise in them. Political agreements across parties and people are how the government actually functions. That should be celebrated and encouraged and better understood by the public. That said, where political spectrum theory fails I propose a new polis torus, or political doughnut, political theory.
Social sciences, like political science, economics and psychology have a tradition of being inspired by the hard sciences like biology, chemistry and physics. We are dynamic as a polis or spoken plainly we are dynamic as political communities. Political spectrum theory has a hard time accounting for the totality of our political communities like for those that don't often vote, third parties in America or those voters with no political party. Political spectrum theory is too often divisive, oversimplified and not dynamic and was inspired by the electromagnetic spectrum in physics (pictured). Political spectrum thinking allows for too easily crafted divide and conquer tactics leveled against "We The People" which can be disastrously evil, murderous and plague-like. Countries disband over dividing and conquering tactics. On these larger scales, criminals, militaries, governments, intelligence agencies, psychological operations and police master divide and conquer tactics. Individually, abnormal psychology type people with no sense of immorality and a lust for subjugation are obsessed with manipulative behaviors like keeping their enemies divided and fighting one another, and thus very distracted. People that are psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists, antisocial personality disorder and megalomaniac are often covertly evil, charismatic, exploitative, smart but lack forethought and insight and seek power over others. In astrophysics, there's a theory that the cosmos is a system shaped like a doughnut, or in geometrical terms it is called a torus (picture and video displayed). The cosmos is complicated as are we, and our politics. In the torus model, the cosmos is expanding and contracting at the same time (https://www.livescience.com/universe-three-dimensional-donut.html). That seems conceptually similar to political affairs. In the torus model of the cosmos, if you look out far enough into space, you could see yourself in your own galaxy relative to time, also known as the fourth dimension in physics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnYna3sfGt4 - YouTube 17 min).
I find that part of the torus theory useful in applying astrophysics to political theory. Theoretically a polis torus could encourage cooperation, with us possibly seeing more of ourselves in others. Moreover, it has been said that politics makes for strange bedfellows, meaning often people of differing political parties and views do in fact work together. Surprising to many the true textbook meaning of the term "liberal" means essentially limited government. United States Democrats and Republicans have more in common in being textbook liberal than would be commonly believed.
Consider our politics as a polis torus with the sides of the cosmic torus representing political parties or the two legislative chambers of the American Congress. Further, the laboratories of democracy, our American 50 state levels of government can also be accounted for in the torus polis theory as well as the general public. The center of the torus structure might be thought of as the executive branch of government and/or the political, legal, policy and social rule agreements of our societies still expanding and contracting while sharing similarities across divisions in total. The far left and right boundaries represent where people disagree, where political parties differ, where different legislative chambers exist, and differ, and even where the public at large disagrees. Further, amazingly a torus cross-section roughly looks like the infinity symbol ∞.
Casting people into political spectrums has costs, in addition to understandings. Static political spectrum theory could be improved often being too divisive, oversimplified, politically incomplete sometimes inaccurately grouping individuals together or ignoring them. Within a polis torus theory I hope to discourage evil, the evils of an uncivilized society, warfare, divide and conquer tactics, manipulation, unaddressed political exploitation, misinformation, disinformation, coups and to inspire a civil, peaceful, loving-kindness coexistence even if we disagree sometimes.

Secretly Earth has a robotized human population that doesn't know it is being robotized and that doesn't want to be robotized and should not have augmented free will; nor any of what has been done to us T.I. not so secretly. I plan to head toward the center of the Milky Way Galaxy after death searching for Red Dwarf Star civilizations that won't and don't secretly robotize their populations for and by, evil defined - as is the case here on Earth truthfully. It may be a matter of immeasurable aspects of physics, that we have life after death. The older planets, with more advanced civilizations will be towards the center of the Milky Way Galaxy in my fractal analysis of what we know about the formation of our own solar system. The planets closest to the sun formed first. Our sun is not meant to last but Red Dwarf stars will live the longest and they happen to be the most numerous stars. Look for civilization revealing electromagnetic activity on planets orbiting Red Dwarf stars. You too may want to take the longer but better path after death and evacuate earth.
